Vision Statement for Youth Pastor Position

Marshfield is a community of nearly 8,000 people located just east of Springfield along I-44 in Webster County, Missouri. Our town blends small-town warmth and values with the opportunities of a developing region, making it a wonderful place for families and students alike. At Marshfield First Baptist, we exist to bring glory to God and see lives changed. Currently we average approximately 375 in weekly worship attendance and nearly 50 youth during small group and midweek activities. We are prayerfully seeking a man who shares our conviction that ministry is about equipping, not entertaining. We believe the next generation doesn’t simply need more activities; but spiritual leaders who will walk with them, invest in them, and empower them to live out their faith in everyday life. Our vision as a church is clear: to make disciples, develop leaders, and deploy the called. We long to see youth in Marshfield and the surrounding area come to know Christ personally, grow in maturity, and step into God’s calling for their lives. The man stepping into this role will partner with families, volunteers, the church staff, and the broader church body to cultivate a Christ-centered, disciple-making culture among our youth.
