About the Program:
The Health Services Collegiate Program (HSCP) is a unique opportunity for current students pursuing healthcare-related degrees to receive financial support and leadership training while preparing for a career as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Navy's healthcare system.
Eligible Disciplines Include (but not limited to):
Medicine (MD/DO)
Dentistry (DDS/DMD)
Clinical Psychology (PhD/PsyD)
Optometry (OD)
Physician Assistant (PA)
Health Administration (MHA/MBA)
Environmental Health or Industrial Hygiene (MS/MPH)
Program Benefits:
Monthly salary of $3,800–$5,300 while in school (based on location and rank)
Full active-duty benefits (medical, dental, retirement accrual)
No military obligations until after graduation
Paid vacation (30 days/year)
Commissioned as a Navy Officer upon graduation and licensure
Who Should Apply:
Motivated, high-performing students who are:
U.S. citizens
Enrolled full-time in an accredited graduate-level healthcare program
Willing to serve a minimum of 3–4 years on active duty after graduation
In good physical condition and able to pass a military medical exam
