Barista

This job has two parts. 
First, hospitality. This is done by welcoming our guests into the cafe with friendly conversation and a generous disposition, and by being attentive.
Secondly, service—the preparation of excellent beverages and food for our guests.
Tasks include:
- Prepare and serve drinks & food that meet our high standards
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding the menu, tune into the customer’s needs
- Respond to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner
- Properly handle and maintain all equipment
- Accurately handle cash and credit card payments, following appropriate cash-handling procedures
- Observe health and safety standards
