Position Overview

We're seeking an enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team in providing exceptional customer service and expertise in the world of legwear. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling options to accommodate work-life balance while contributing to our mission of delivering the finest hosiery experience in Chicago.

Available Shifts

Please note: You are not expected to work all shifts listed below. These represent our available shift options, and scheduling will be arranged based on mutual availability and business needs.

Morning Shift: 10:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Evening Weekday: 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Weekend Shifts: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM (Saturdays and Sundays)

Key Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service and product expertise in hosiery and fashion

Assist customers in finding the perfect legwear for their needs and style preferences

Maintain comprehensive product knowledge of our extensive hosiery collection

Process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges efficiently

Support visual merchandising and store presentation standards

Contribute to achieving sales targets through effective customer engagement

Maintain store organization and inventory management

Stay current with fashion trends and seasonal collections

Qualifications & Requirements

Preferred Experience

Retail sales experience preferred

Fashion retail background is a plus

Essential Skills

Engaging personality with excellent communication abilities

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills

Fashion and hosiery knowledge a plus - willingness to learn is essential

Customer service orientation with problem-solving capabilities

Reliability is a must - consistent attendance and punctuality required

Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends

Basic math skills for processing transactions

Nice to Have

Understanding of fashion trends and styling principles

Knowledge of different hosiery types, materials, and care instructions

Experience with point-of-sale systems
