School-Based Tutors & Enrichment Facilitators (Math, ELA, Enrichment)

Blossom-S is seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join our school-based team of tutors and facilitators. We are looking for educators and enrichment leaders who can commit to at least one semester and are willing to travel within NYC boroughs. Our programs provide academic tutoring, social-emotional learning support, and creative enrichment opportunities for students in grades 4–12. 

Expected Responsibilities:

- Deliver small-group and 1:1 academic tutoring in Math and/or ELA for middle school students (grades 6–8)
- Support students with homework, assessments, and grade-level content
- Track student progress and maintain basic data/attendance logs
- Collaborate with school staff and communicate effectively with families
- Lead enrichment workshops in areas such as creative storytelling, digital art, STEM challenges, or media literacy
- Incorporate SEL and ABA-informed strategies into instruction
- Commit to scheduled hours during school day or after-school program
- Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and reliability at all times

Skills & Qualifications:

- Strong knowledge in middle school Math and/or ELA instruction
- OR specialized creative/enrichment skills (visual storytelling, arts, STEM, etc.)
- Clear communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to engage students in interactive, student-centered learning
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel across NYC boroughs
- High school diploma required; college coursework or degree preferred
- Prior tutoring, teaching, mentoring, or youth leadership experience strongly preferred

* Must complete NYC DOE fingerprinting and onboarding

** Bonus: Experience with ABA strategies, SEL facilitation, or DOE settings**
