Data Engineering Intern (Bilingual Chinese)

Location: Remote
Commitment: 20 hrs per week | 3-month internship 

About the Role

Join OCBridge’s tech team to help build the technical foundation behind our AI-driven recruiting and market intelligence systems.
This role combines data engineering, automation, and real-world AI operations — ideal for someone eager to learn how data powers business decision-making in fast-growing AI industries.

What You’ll Learn and Contribute To

  • Use Python (Selenium, Pandas) and SQL to collect, clean, and organize real-world data.
  • Observe how data pipelines and automation tools (e.g., AWS RDS, APIs) are designed to support analytics systems.
  • Participate in supervised projects involving data scraping, cleaning, and enrichment for recruiting and market research use cases.
  • Practice integrating AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT API) to assist with information extraction or classification tasks.
  • Collaborate with tech and operation team members to understand how data supports cross-border recruiting workflows.

What You’ll Gain

We’re Looking For

  • Current student majoring in Computer Science, Data Science, or related technical field.
  • Strong academic or project experience in Python (Pandas, Selenium) and SQL.
  • Interest in data automation, AI applications, and cloud environments (AWS preferred).
  • Adaptable learner who enjoys figuring out ambiguous technical problems with mentorship and peer collaboration.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese.
  • Passionate about AI, data, and automation, with a long-term interest in how technology shapes global recruiting industry.
  • Able to commit consistent weekly hours during the internship period for learning and collaboration.

Additional Information

  • OCBridge will provide mentorship, technical guidance, and performance feedback throughout the program.
  • Candidates may use this internship for academic credit if approved by their institution.
