Job Description
We are hiring a Deputy Activities and Event Coordinator to assist with the planning and execution of guest activities and events during our high season. This role is perfect for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences. You will manage the planning for and daily schedule of events, coordinate with guests, and act as a liaison between them and the rest of the ranch staff.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests, help them settle into their lodging, provide an overview of the ranch, and ensure they enjoy the full Alpine Falls Ranch experience
- Coordinate both on-site and off-site guest activities such as guided UTV tours, horseback riding, rafting, fishing, etc.
- Assist with inbound reservations and guest inquiries over the phone and by email, ensuring a smooth and welcoming booking process
- Assist with event setup and teardown for weddings and private functions
- Act as the primary point of contact for guests, handling questions and providing information about their stay
- Manage guest activities and itineraries including any last-minute changes
- Ensure guests receive top-quality service throughout their stay
- Handle on-site financial transactions such as quotes, receipts, and invoices
- Perform other ranch duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Must be flexible and willing to assist in other areas as needed
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays and evenings
- Must be comfortable operating ranch machinery (UTVs, trucks, SUVs)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field preferred
- Experience in hospitality, event planning, guest services, or a similar role
Compensation & Benefits
- $18/hour
