 Care Animal Hospital, a long-standing and trusted practice in the Arlington Heights community since 1971, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Practice Manager to grow with us! The Practice Manager is a vital part of our team, responsible for ensuring the smooth, efficient, and positive operation of our hospital. While this is an entry-level position, you will be mentored and trained by our parent corporation to oversee the non-medical aspects of the business, supporting our veterinarians and technicians so they can provide the highest quality of patient care.

You will learn to be a strategic thinker, a team supporter, and an operational assistant who ensures the entire hospital runs smoothly, profitably, and with a commitment to outstanding client and patient service. This role is perfect for someone eager to develop their leadership and business skills within a dynamic and caring environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Support: Assist with daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow at reception, in the exam rooms, and beyond. Learn inventory management, equipment maintenance, and facility upkeep.
• Financial Assistance: Support budgeting, accounts payable/receivable processes, payroll, and fee schedule review.
• Human Resources Support: Assist with HR functions including staff scheduling, onboarding, and fostering a positive team environment.
• Client Relations: Learn to ensure high standards of client service and satisfaction. Assist in resolving client concerns and enhancing the client experience.
• Marketing & Community Engagement: Participate in developing and executing strategies to attract new clients, retain existing ones, and promote the practice’s services within the local community.
• Compliance: Learn about and assist in ensuring the hospital adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA and DEA compliance.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
