Mobile Application Developer

At Golf Social, we're on a mission to revolutionize the way golfers connect, compete, and share their passion for the game. We are taking an industry proven concept and using it to develop a next-generation mobile app that will become the go-to platform for golfers, but we're missing one crucial piece: a technical partner to build it with us. We're looking for an ambitious and talented developer to join our founding team and turn our vision into a reality. 

The Opportunity:

This isn't a typical internship or job. We are looking for a partner, not an employee. You will be the technical lead for Golf Social, taking charge of building the application from the ground up for both Android and iOS using a modern tech stack. In exchange for your time, talent, and dedication, you will receive an equity stake in the company. You will be investing in the business with your time and skills, and your reward will be a share of the success we build together. We are also open to negotiating a compensation and equity mix if that is preferred. We estimate that our total addressable market (TAM) consists of approximately 5,500 golf courses across the country. Our potential annual recurring revenue (ARR) at full market capture is between $39.6M and $66M. The feedback that we have received from future customers has been very positive. Additionally, we already have a private clubhouse interested, and waiting for product development, so they can test our product. 

What You'll Build & Own:

 * Architect and build the Golf Social mobile app from scratch using Flutter and Dart.

 * Lead the technical direction of the product, making key decisions on architecture and implementation.

 * Integrate a powerful backend using Google Firebase for user profiles, social features, data storage (Firestore), and more.

 * Shape the user experience (UI/UX) to create an intuitive, beautiful, and engaging platform for golfers.

 * Explore and implement innovative features, potentially leveraging AI/ML for things such as user data analysis.

 * Technically Skilled: You have a strong foundation in mobile development, specifically with Dart and Flutter.

 * Passionate & Driven: You're committed to building a high-quality product and are willing to invest your time and talent to make it succeed.

 * Experience with Firebase is a major plus.

 * Familiarity with Python for AI/ML is a bonus and aligns with our long-term vision.

 * A love for golf isn't required, but it's a massive plus!
