Springs 2026 Real Estate Internship
- This internship will begin Spring Semester 2026
Job Summary:
The Real Estate Development Intern will assist with the development of real estate projects, from the planning and design stages through construction and completion. This can also involve identifying potential development opportunities, conducting market research, and managing certain financial aspects of a project.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with initial due diligence and feasibility analysis for potential development opportunities
- Assist with underwriting efforts for development projects throughout Florida, including the verification of income, expense and development costs assumptions
- Assist with applications, due diligence and closing processes for various funding sources
- Solicit proposals from design professionals and consultants
- Assist with the submission and receipt of all levels of governmental approvals needed for rezoning, variances, site plats, entitlements and permits
- Assist with investor coordination of reporting and capital installments during construction period
- Assist with monthly payment applications and draw requests
- Other development related tasks as needed
Qualifications
- In final year of Bachelor’s program or pursuing a Master’s degree in Real Estate, Finance or related field
- Highly proficient in MS Excel, Project, Word, and PowerPoint
- Highly driven and hard working with a strong sense of personal responsibility and ownership of work product
- Strong financial and analytical skills, with a passion for real estate development
- High level of attention to detail with strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
