Job Summary:
- Operate a combination of the following magnetic resonance (MRI), computed tomography (CT), Mammography and X-ray imaging equipment to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating a variety of medical conditions.
- Select appropriate imaging techniques, operate imaging consoles and peripheral hardware, and ensure high-quality image capture.
- Enter and monitor patient data, transfer and store images, and prepare film transparencies using an automatic processor.
- Serve as a key point of contact for patients throughout the imaging process, ensuring comfort and clear communication.
- Maintain and enforce all patient safety protocols related to imaging procedures.
- Actively participate in committees and initiatives including Performance Improvement, Radiation Safety, Patient and Physician Education, Continuous Quality Improvement, and Employee Satisfaction.
- Perform other imaging-related tasks and duties as assigned.
Skill/Education Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- ARRT registration in Radiography is required.
- Any of the following: ARRT (CT), ARRT (M), ARRT (MR), or registry eligible in one of these areas.
- Current American Heart Association certification required within 3 months of hire and must be maintained throughout employment.
- A patient-centered professional with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety and quality care.
- Available for "on call" duties
