Business Development Intern

Business Development Intern – Limebox

Limebox is a fast-growing NetSuite consulting firm helping companies get more from their ERP. We’re a startup with an entrepreneurial culture, and we’re looking for driven interns who want real-world experience selling at the executive level.

About the Role
As a Business Development Intern, you’ll gain hands-on SaaS sales experience by identifying and qualifying potential customers. Using Limebox Sales and Marketing Tools, you’ll reach out to companies by phone, email, and LinkedIn — and if the prospect is local, you may choose to visit offices or schedule in-person meetings when it helps move a deal forward. You’ll log communications in our system, track progress, and open the door for new client relationships.This internship may run for up to 6 months, with monthly progress check-ins to ensure it’s a good fit for both sides. We anticipate 60–80 hours of effort per month for optimal results, though efficiency improves with experience. To be successful, you’ll need to not only drive outreach but also be available during business hours to attend the meetings you schedule with decision makers. Travel is not expected, but please share your comfort level with travel in the event it could support closing a deal.

Compensation

  • $100 for each company running NetSuite where you secure a call between our team and a qualified decision maker
  • 1% commission on the first year of sales from any deals closed from your qualified leads
  • On average, this equates to about $26/hr, though actual results depend on your performance and efficiency
