About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated SPED Specialist / Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, providing specialized, school-based therapy to K-12 students with special needs. This role involves travel to school sites and providing support on proprietary company platforms such as VillageED and iTAAP.

What You’ll Do
- Implement therapeutic activities to help students with sensory processing, fine and gross motor skills, and daily living activities.
- Provide training to school staff and parents on how to incorporate therapy goals into daily routines.
- Document student progress by maintaining detailed records of therapy sessions for IEP reports.
- Collaborate with other professionals by participating in IEP meetings to support students.
- Travel to school sites across California and occasionally to our Pasadena, CA, for corporate meetings.
- Provide client support on VillageED and iTAAP platforms.
What You Bring
- State Board Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software.
