Camp Stores Host
Join our dynamic summer team as a Camp Stores Host, delivering top-notch service to campers and their families! You'll rotate between our Camp Store and Acorns Canteen, handle camper mail, and help make every day at camp a memorable one.
Key Responsibilities:
Camp Stores & Canteen
- Deliver friendly, knowledgeable service to campers and families
- Operate POS system and manage camper account transactions
- Handle cash (open, close, and reconcile drawers)
- Organize and restock merchandise
- Ensure cleanliness and food safety standards
- Lead Saturday Mega Store setup with staff
Mail Room
- Collect, sort, and distribute camper mail
- Manage mail intake during registration
Additional Duties
- Attend camp-wide and departmental meetings
- Support Rec and Ministry events (mostly evenings)
- Assist with Sunday check-in and Saturday pick-up
- Be flexible for temporary assignments (including Cabin Leader, if needed)

Requirements
Spiritual
- Is a professing Christian and is supportive of Timber-lee’s mission and core values as well as committed to the truths found in our Statement of Faith.
- Commitment to a Christian lifestyle and demonstration of character in keeping with the biblical model.
- Exhibits a sincere love for the Lord and desires to see people come to know Him personally and grow in their faith.
Organizational
- Agrees with, and supports, Timber-lee Ministries’ philosophy and policies.
- Demonstrates excellent work ethic; excels at providing quality guest experiences.
- Understands and exhibits behaviors and skills needed to function in, and be accountable in, a team environment.
- Shows a positive and cooperative attitude of ministry to the position, guests, and fellow employees.
Positional
- Must be capable of running a cash drawer and making change.
- Knowledge of Square is preferred.
- Exhibits excellent customer service skills and is able to present a positive, friendly, and helpful attitude to all guests.
- Has excellent communication skills and the ability to teach or lead others.
- Is able to responsibly operate a golf cart, if a drivers license is possessed.
- Is able to carry boxes weighing up to 50 pounds up and down stairs.
- Is able to physically traverse the multi-terrain campground in all seasons of the year; able to be on one’s feet for long periods of time.
Candidates must be at least 16 years of age at time of hire to be considered for this position.
