Winter / Spring Assurance (Audit) Intern
MRM CPAs & Advisors is seeking an enthusiastic Winter / Spring Assurance (Audit) Intern to join our dynamic team. We are a full-service CPA firm and a registered investment advisor (RIA) firm located in Frisco, Texas.

The Intern role is responsible for learning and applying their technical skills and working as part of a team carrying out tasks under close coaching and supervision. This qualified individual should not only possess the technical skills, knowledge and experience required, but also exude a positive attitude, confidence, and ability to succeed in a progressive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Projects: Support multiple client assignments simultaneously, assisting in the overall success of each project. Learn and utilize effective project management techniques to help establish work schedules and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge Development: Collaborate with team members to develop deeper knowledge and skills in the audit field, participating in our culture of continuous learning and development.
- Technical Skills: Develop your knowledge and skills in the audit field, staying updated with the latest accounting standards and industry trends.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team, completing project components and assigned tasks to deliver exceptional results.
- Positive Attitude: Maintain a motivated and empowered attitude, contributing to a positive work environment and supporting the firm’s success.
- Audit Services: Assist in drafting client reports, researching and applying US GAAP standards.
Qualifications:
- Working toward Degree qualification.
- Developing technical knowledge.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Team player with a positive – ‘can do’ approach.
- Strong communication skills.
- A general and growing knowledge of firm products and services in the practice area, and a general knowledge of products and services in other practice areas.
- A general understanding of market trends including opportunities, global and local business initiatives
