Opportunity Summary:

Do you love learning, digging into financials, and collaborating with a team that values continuous improvement? We’re looking for an Accounting Intern to assist our team with a blend of general ledger accounting, process automation, and tax compliance. Reporting directly to the controller, this role will allow you to gain valuable experience, and make a positive impact on our accounting processes. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with general ledger accounting, including journal entries and reconciliations
  • Support process automation initiatives to improve efficiency in accounting workflows
  • Help ensure compliance with tax filing and reporting requirements
  • Collaborate with the Controller and accounting team on special projects and process improvements
  • Analyze financial data and prepare reports as needed
  • Learn and utilize accounting software and other financial tools

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Tech-savvy and eager to learn new software applications
  • Team player with collaborative spirit and a focus on customer service
  • Sense of curiosity and desire to learn about our products and markets
  • Sense of humor, integrity, impeccable work ethic and resilient hands-on problem solver
