Accounting Intern - Summer 2026
Job Overview
- We are accepting applications for summer internships to work with our Accounting and Finance Team. This is an in-person position with no hybrid or remote work option. You will work out of our corporate headquarters located in Maple Grove. This internship can start during the school year with flexible, part-time hours and transition into full-time hours during the summer.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
- Support material sales tracking and reconciliation.
- Collaborate with the accounting and finance team on daily tasks and projects.
- Help prepare documentation for internal use.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Junior or Senior within a 4-year degree program.
- Interest and knowledge of the heavy highway construction industry.
- Desire to gain hands-on experience in the office and/or field by shadowing with knowledgeable professionals.
- Excellent verbal/written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage time and handle multiple tasks at once.
- Demonstrated ability to use software programs including MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of and compliance with all Company safety requirements, policies, and any required safety training.
