💡 The Role

We’re looking for a strategic do-er: someone who can see what needs to exist, map the “why” and “how,” and then make it happen scrappily. You understand that nobody cares about cards—they care about content that entertains, inspires, or moves them.
 

Your job: build a brand people follow because it makes them laugh, cry, and think. You’ll design the playbook, balance editorial storytelling with performance ads, and execute ideas by any means necessary—directing creators, briefing partners, editing yourself, or scrapping together assets.

 

You don’t have to be the main face on camera—but you know what performs on social and can guide creators and our team to bring it to life.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Own Escargot’s content strategy and execution—you think it, then make it real
  • Build an editorial approach rooted in entertainment and emotion, not just product pushes
  • Create systems and frameworks, then scrappily execute: direct shoots, edit, brief, coordinate—whatever’s needed
  • Translate our brand pillars (humor, sentiment, connection) into formats for TikTok, IG, and emerging platforms
  • Balance two content tracks: cultural storytelling that builds love + ads that convert
  • Test constantly—kill fast, double down on winners
  • Manage creator partnerships, UGC, and collabs strategically and tactically
  • Track what matters: engagement, resonance, performance
     

What We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years creating + strategizing content for culture-driven brands, startups, or agencies
  • Strategic brain + scrappy hands: you plan and you build
  • Deep fluency in TikTok, IG, and platform culture—you know what works before the data proves it
  • Sharp editorial instincts: when to be funny, when to be heartfelt
  • Track record of content that got traction, engagement, or cultural buzz
  • Comfortable managing both brand storytelling and performance ads
  • Resourceful, fast-moving, and endlessly curious

This is a full-time, hybrid role in NYC. Salary $80K–$120K + equity + benefits.
