Paid Part-Time Brand Ambassador Internship – Water Treatment Education & Lead Generation

Location: Multiple Big Box Stores Across Central Florida
Hours: Part-Time (up to 20 hours per week, Flexible Schedule)

Are you a people person who enjoys sharing knowledge and working independently?  We're looking for a motivated, reliable individual to represent our local water treatment company in 12 Big Box Stores locations throughout the area. 

About Us:
We’re a veteran-owned small business with over 30 years of experience in residential water treatment. Known for our high-quality products, exceptional customer service, and professional installation and support, we partner with Big Box Stores to help their customers obtain the benefits of clean, treated water.

Position Summary:
You will visit assigned Big Box Stores weekly to educate the Big Box Stores employees on water treatment solutions and generate homeowner leads for our team. For the first full week you will shadow an employee doing this work.   Initially you will attend trainings that are conducted with store employee, but will eventually take over this task as part of this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Visit 3-4 stores a week (maximum 20 hours a week)
  • Provide brief, engaging education sessions to Big Box Stores associates about water treatment products and benefits.
  • Encourage associates to identify customers who could benefit from water treatment.
  • Conduct on-site lead generation activities at one store per week (~3 hours).
  • Communicate regularly with our team on store visits, opportunities, and feedback.
  • Utilize software to log all activities

Qualifications:

  • The ability to work 2 Saturdays a month
  • The ability to work every Tuesday at 1:30-3:00pm for training sessions at the stores
  • Friendly, outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable speaking to small groups and one-on-one.
  • Self-starter with good time management and communication.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.
  • Desire to get experience in sales, training, and customer service.
  • Interest in water quality helpful (training provided).

An successful candidate will be able to generate 6 leads per month per covered store (either through store associates or directly through lead generation activities); with an appoint set rate of 60% (lead quality).  There will be up to $30 a month per store bonus if those goals are met.
