HR Recruiter

What you’ll do:
As our HR Recruiter, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Rubicon's workforce by driving the recruitment process and ensuring that we attract top talent across our landscaping, construction, and snow operations divisions. You will work closely with operations to ensure teams are staffed and ready to mobilize during snowstorms, as well as throughout the year for landscaping and construction projects. You’ll collaborate directly with hiring managers, supporting them in recruitment and HR-related tasks. Your efforts will help ensure that Rubicon’s workforce is strong, reliable, and aligned with our commitment to delivering results in every season.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with high-volume recruitment
  • Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, candidate sourcing, and selection
  • Knowledge of general human resources policies and procedures
  • Understanding of employment and labor laws
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Paycom) is a plus
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Aptitude in problem-solving and decision-making

Responsibilities:

  • Lead talent acquisition efforts by managing the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring across landscaping, construction, and snow operations roles
  • Collaborate with hiring managers in each division to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies tailored to seasonal and year-round positions
  • Assist in developing and implementing recruitment policies and best practices
  • Maintain and manage applicant tracking systems (ATS) while ensuring compliance with recruitment-related regulations
  • Enhance the candidate experience by ensuring timely communication and a smooth interview process
  • Maintain employee files and records in both electronic and paper form
  • Contribute to improving job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly and supporting team-building activities
  • Coordinate and manage onboarding processes for large groups, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires during peak recruitment periods (e.g., snow season ramp-ups, landscaping spring hiring, construction projects)
