About Us

Feed the Need Industries, Inc. provides scholarships to Women of Color and practical support to underserved communities, non-profits and people living with multiple sclerosis (MS). We’re scaling several AI initiatives—AI tools for education and operations, volunteer/intern coordination, community programs. We’re looking for a proactive Project Assistant to keep our Founder organized and our projects moving.

Role Summary

You’ll be the Manager’s right hand, managing calendars and communications, coordinating interns/volunteers, pushing tasks across the finish line, and helping operationalize AI-enabled workflows. This role is ideal for a KSU student or recent grad who’s detail-oriented, tech-savvy, mission-driven, and comfortable juggling diverse responsibilities. Your efforts will be AI tool supported.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Support & Operations

Manage calendars, inbox triage, meeting prep, agendas, and follow-ups.

Draft, edit, and format documents, slide decks, and standard operating procedures.

Maintain organized digital files and project trackers (e.g., Google Drive, Sheets/Excel, Docs/Word).

Project & Volunteer/Intern Coordination

Recruit, onboard, and schedule interns/volunteers; track tasks and deadlines.

Run quick standups; capture notes and convert them into action items.

Maintain a simple CRM/contact list for partners, donors, and community stakeholders.

AI & Productivity Workflows

Help implement AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, bots, AI-Agents) for drafting, research, data cleanup, and process docs.

Organize prompt libraries, check output quality, and document repeatable workflows.

Programs, Grants & Community

Assist with scholarship and program logistics (timelines, eligibility checks, communications).

Grant support: gather attachments, document retrival, format narratives/budgets, track submissions.

Draft posts and coordinate basic social updates; collect testimonials and impact stories.

Research & Reporting

Conduct quick AI assisted research (vendors, pricing, comparables, program opportunities).

Build simple dashboards/checklists; prepare weekly progress summaries.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves

Strong organizational skills; you love checklists and closing loops.

Clear, professional written and verbal communication.

Comfort with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and basic spreadsheets.

Ability to learn new tools quickly (project boards, CRMs, AI apps).

Integrity, discretion, and respect for confidentiality.

Nice-to-Haves (Preferred)

Experience in any of: nonprofit operations, volunteer coordination, or program admin.

Exposure to AI tools for productivity/content drafting.

Familiarity with simple project tools and CRM basics.

Lived experience or empathy working with disability communities is a plus
