Art Program Assistant

ART PROGRAM ASSISTANT- FT Position supporting and assisting individuals with disabilities in accessing art programs and creative activities. Also works to promote the full inclusion of individuals with disabilities in the arts, both within the program's studio and throughout the wider community. This position requires a passion for both art and working with people with disabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a creative and adaptive environment.  This position will provide hands on support, adapting instruction to meet each artist's learning needs. The assistant will incorporate art education to plan and lead art classes across multiple mediums including but not limited to painting, drawing, digital art, and pottery.  Experience in social services and or individuals with disabilities preferred.  $19.00- $20.00/hr.     

 

Monday- Friday:  8:00am- 4:00pm
