Business Development Manager – Humanoid
We are seeking a forward-thinking and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to lead market engagement and growth initiatives in the rapidly evolving humanoid robotics space. This role is critical to mapping humanoid applications and critical product segments, identifying potential business opportunities, shaping go-to-market strategies, and building relationships with early adopters across different market verticals. This is a high-impact role with visibility and ownership in a fast-growing strategic business initiative.
The ideal candidate combines technology savvy and strong commercial acumen with a solid understanding of humanoid applications and emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate humanoid applications and relevant product segments to define the overall humanoid market and potential growth areas.
- Conduct competitive and market landscape analysis to inform product-market fit and GTM strategy.
- Work across various business groups with their product, engineering, and marketing to define solution offerings and roadmap priorities.
- Build strong relationships with early adopters, pilot customers, and strategic partners
- Drive lead generation, pre-sales engagements, and proof-of-concept discussions
- Present technical and business value propositions to executive stakeholders and potential key customers.
- Own the business development pipeline for humanoid robotics opportunities.
- Qualify, develop, and convert high-potential leads into strategic opportunities.
- Work closely with cross-functionally to support deal structuring, proposal development, and contract negotiations.
- Participate in industry events, research forums, and innovation showcases to position the company as a leader in humanoid robotics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 5–10 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or sales in robotics or deep-tech sectors.
- Familiarity with humanoid or mobile robot technologies, AI-driven systems, or real-world deployments.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate complex ideas to both technical and executive audiences.
- Self-starter with a growth mindset and a passion for emerging technologies
- Experience in a high-tech or industrial company with innovation-driven business models
- Ability to work in matrixed, fast-paced environments across global teams
- Comfortable with ambiguity and early-stage business building
- Ability to travel to customer sites, tradeshows, and conferences as needed
