GDIT is seeking a talented Program Analyst / Technical Editor Intern! This individual must be motivated to deliver innovative capabilities that directly impact some of GDIT’s most complex government, defense, and intelligence projects across the country.
In this role, a typical day will include:
Performing administrative and analytical tasks in support of a contract program.
Contributing to the production of a variety of deliverables, including status reports, system documentation, and training materials.
Assisting with process automation efforts.
Assisting in developing plans, including budgets and schedules, and monitoring tasks, to meet contractual/project requirements for assigned program.
Monitoring progress of program requirements.
Interacting regularly with customers and other industry representatives to ensure conformance to customer requirements.
Assisting in business development activities and participating in special projects as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Currently enrolled in an associate's, bachelor's or master's degree program in English, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field from a United States-based college or university.
0+ years of experience.
2+ years using Microsoft Office Suite.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Familiarity with Section 508 compliance/accessibility.
Experience documenting processes/procedures.
Exposure to the Agile methodology.
ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including formatting and grammar.
Demonstration of strong organizational and analytical skills.
Must be a team player who is self-motivated and takes initiative.
GDIT interns are paid and full-time (40 hours/week) for 10 consecutive weeks.. Applicants should have a minimum of one semester remaining in their studies after their internship concludes. Take the first step and apply today!
