Position Overview:
The Supply Chain Intern will have responsibility for the creation, organization and processing of information, and will provide additional support as needed for the Corporate Supply Chain organization.
Location:
On-site in Lynchburg, VA
Your Day to Day as a Supply Chain Intern:
- Provides administrative support to a team of supply chain professionals and project managers with data analytics for monthly KPIs.
- Supports the BWXT Supply Chain Credit Card Program.
- Supports the sub-contract process by utilizing SAP in developing purchase orders.
- Facilitates improvements to the Corporate Procurement SharePoint site.
- Develops presentation slides as needed for various projects.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in Supply Management, Business Administration, Finance/Accounting, Marketing/Communications, Human Resources, Information Technology or other related business disciplines.
- Must be able to demonstrate superior written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.
