We’re looking for motivated Business Development & Sales Interns who thrive in fast-paced environments and are eager to sharpen their client acquisition and sales skills. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be pitching our services directly to potential clients every single day.

 

What You’ll Be Doing (Day in the Life)

  • A typical day as a Business Development & Sales Intern at Global Wheelhouse looks like this:
  • Start your morning building and refining prospect lists using LinkedIn Jobs, Glassdoor, Indeed, and industry sites.
  • Pick up the phone and cold call U.S.-based companies across multiple industries.
  • Draft and send personalized outreach emails to hiring managers, founders, and HR leaders.
  • Pitch Global Wheelhouse’s recruiting and HR services with clarity, confidence, and urgency.
  • Log daily outreach activity, track responses, and refine messaging to boost results.
  • Brainstorm and test new strategies to generate client leads.
  • At the end of each day, you’ll know you’ve directly contributed to expanding our client base.

 

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential clients with open roles.
  • Conduct daily cold calls and email outreach to company leaders.
  • Pitch Global Wheelhouse’s services confidently and persuasively.
  • Build and manage your own lead list across industries (Tech, Sports, Events, Beauty, Hospitality, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to refine sales scripts and strategies.
  • Track outreach metrics and report on client acquisition progress.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Currently studying or experienced in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, or Communications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (pitching, email etiquette, professional presence).
  • Proficient in cold calling, sales outreach, and pitching to decision-makers.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and with urgency.
  • Comfortable with high-volume outreach and resilient when facing rejection.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and motivated by results.
