TITLE:                                                                 Teacher of Speech and Language Disabilities or Speech Pathologist  

                                                                              

LOCATION:                                                     Jefferson-Lewis BOCES with initial assignment at 

                                                                              Indian River Central School District

 

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:                 Provide speech therapy services to students with disabilities as specified in                                                                                                                                                          Individual Education Plans and speech improvement services to non-                                                                                                                                                                      disabled students

 

QUALIFICATIONS:                                    New York State Certification/license in Speech and Hearing Handicapped or                                                                                                                                                          Speech and Language Disabilities required. Preference given to Licensed                                                                                                                                                                 Speech Pathologists.

 

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:              $53,472-$60,702. Commensurate with certification/experience in keeping

                                                                                with the current negotiated agreement with the BOCES Professional

                                                                                Association. Health insurance, which includes vision & prescription coverage,

                                                                                NYS Retirement membership, tax deferred annuities, employee assistance

                                                                                program, and generous sick and personal day policies.
