Youth Athletic Coach (basketball, soccer, volleyball, and/or flag football)
POSITION SUMMARY
The Riviera Ridge School is looking for swim, volleyball, soccer, basketball and flag football coaches for our 4th-8th grade athletic teams for the 2025 - 2026 school year. Teams practice and/or have games in the afternoons three days a week. Each sports season is 8-9 weeks long.
Qualifications:
- Coaches will have a clear understanding of the game and be able to run a practice with beginner to intermediate level athletes.
- Strong background in volleyball, basketball, flag football, and/or soccer with coaching experience desired.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Coaches will provide proper supervision of students at all times.
- Coaches’ behavior on and off the court should exemplify leadership, composure, discipline and integrity.
- Have current TB Assessment
- Must provide a clear fingerprint test and background check
- Have CPR and First Aid certifications or have the ability to become certified upon employment.

- Positive, energetic, organized and friendly
- Must be comfortable working in collaborative environments
- Personable and professional with parents/guardians, coaches and referees.
- Flexible and adept at troubleshooting challenges that occur in the moment
