Department Assistant - Film/TV Studio - Communication Arts-FWS

This department assistant position in film and TV studio will:

  • Assist professors with construction and renovation of sets in the Film/TV Studio, photojournalism studio, and new podcasting studio spaces. Prior experience in set construction and/or with power tools is not required but a bonus.
  • Assist professors in hanging and rigging lights in studio spaces. 
  • Assist in the repair and/or disposal of broken equipment. 
  • Clean the studio spaces after projects are completed, including vacuuming, sweeping, and wiping down surfaces.
