Marketing & Media Intern – Video & Social Media Content

Position Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing & Media Intern to support our communications team by clipping and repurposing existing video content for social media. The intern will play a key role in helping us share our story by curating engaging video clips for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

Responsibilities

Clip and edit existing video content into short-form, engaging pieces for social media platforms.

Reorganize YouTube content to reflect the growth and development of the organization.

Prep videos with titles, captions, and formatting optimized for each platform (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).

Collaborate with the marketing manager to align content with ongoing campaigns and branding guidelines.

Track content performance and suggest improvements for engagement.

Qualifications

Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., iMovie, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, Canva Video, or equivalent).

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Interest in nonprofit communications, digital marketing, or media production.

Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.

Bonus: Knowledge of social media trends, analytics, or storytelling strategies.
