Position Summary

LabBuild LLC is looking for a skilled Carpenter / Installer to join our growing team. This role focuses on the installation of laboratory casework, millwork, and related equipment in educational, research, healthcare, and government facilities. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, can problem-solve on site, and works safely and efficiently to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

Install laboratory casework (wood, laminate, and metal), fume hoods, doors, frames, hardware, and other specialty items.

Review project drawings and plan each installation for accuracy, efficiency, and safety.

Ensure finished work meets LabBuild’s standards for quality and detail.

Coordinate with foremen, project managers, and other installers to keep projects on schedule.

Keep the job site organized, clean, and safe at all times.

Safety Commitment

Work in full compliance with LabBuild’s safety policies and procedures.

Always put personal and team safety first.

Identify and report hazards immediately; stop work if conditions are unsafe.

Contribute to a respectful, professional, and safety-focused jobsite culture.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in laboratory casework, millwork, or specialty furniture installation.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Own and maintain a basic set of personal tools.

Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.

3–5 years of experience in finished carpentry or related installation work.
