Process Engineering Intern (Summer 2026)

About the Role

As a Process Engineering Intern, you will be working with some of the most cutting-edge PCB equipment, helping to implement and optimize one-of-a-kind processes. You will be working side by side with our engineering team to collaborate on projects of varying disciplines across the entire shop. Our process engineering team is small, but highly technical. They work together on many company-wide projects lending their professional expertise whenever needed.

You will have many opportunities to learn about the various departments in the shop. No two days will be the same – it is a fast-paced environment with plenty of ongoing projects to keep you engaged and challenged. A summer internship at GreenSource is the best way to get an introduction to an industry that is quickly ramping up in North America, and will be looking for talented young engineers.

GreenSource invests in its employees, providing all training needed. GreenSource is looking to build up the next generation of PCB engineers to continue their work of pushing technical boundaries.

As a process engineering intern, your responsibilities may include:

  • Providing support in the development, control, and optimization of new and existing PCB manufacturing processes.
  • Performing requested analyses and compiling of data to support senior engineers.
  • Assisting in the development and execution of engineering tests and projects.
  • Documenting and reporting results to be reviewed by senior engineering personnel and upper management.
  • Developing a working knowledge of PCB manufacturing principles.
  • Supporting quality, production, and engineering by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Qualifications/Skills

Required: 

  • Majoring in a STEM related field
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be available during the summer of 2026 (May-August) and able to stay/work in the Charlestown, New Hampshire area (weekdays). You will also need a reliable form of transportation to commute to work.
  • Strong initiative to learn and participate in various interdisciplinary projects.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work proactively and independently without constant supervision.
  • Ability to work well in teams of various disciplines using effective written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with statistical software (ex. JMP) and statistical analysis methods.
  • Familiarity of the design of experiments and the concepts behind the analysis.
  • Junior or Seniors preferred but Freshman and Sophomores can still apply.
