We are hiring for the role of Recreation Program Coordinator - Events in the Parks and Recreation Department.
Essential Job Functions
- Plan, coordinate, manage, and operate various Department-hosted events and programs.
- Coordinate & manage event tasks, including planning timelines, booking entertainment/vendors, coordinating staffing, & assisting with set up/tear down.
- Prepare and manage event budgets.
- Collaborate on sponsor acquisition, fulfillment, and activation.
- Promote the Recreation Division throughout the community, including developing marketing material & marketing events on social media.
- Represent department at various community activities.
- Supervise and direct assigned personnel.
- Ability to work extended and/or flexible hours, work evening and/or weekend hours.
