About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our accounting team. This role plays a key part in supporting daily accounting functions and ensuring the accuracy of financial data. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be comfortable working with numbers, reconciliations, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

· Handle day-to-day accounting and maintain accurate financial records

· Prepare and post journal entries in line with standard accounting practices

· Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies

· Assist with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) tasks

· Conduct general account analysis to support financial reporting

· Support COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) analysis to improve cost tracking

· Calculate commissions accurately based on sales reports and compensation plans

· Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures

· Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

· 2-3 years of accounting experience

· Familiarity with basic accounting procedures and principles

· Proficiency in Excel must and JD Edwards

· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

· Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines

Salary: 50,000-65,000
