
Visual Annotation Expert
Role Overview:
Collaborating with a leading AI lab on a project designed to advance the performance of cutting-edge AI models. Experts will analyze short video clips and/or images, producing structured annotations that capture key details such as subjects, objects, environments, audio cues, temporal dynamics, mood, and storytelling elements. This work plays a critical role in helping AI systems better understand and interpret complex visual and narrative information.
Ideal Qualifications:
Have experience in one or more of these archetypes: movie producers, film editors, screenwriters, archivists, media analysts, or generalists with excellent attention to detail.
Apply judgment to decide which attributes best describe a scene and how to express subtle narrative or emotional cues.
Combine strong attention to detail with the ability to clearly document findings.
Excel at following precise instructions and quickly adopting new requirements.
Possess strong written and verbal communication.

You’ll collaborate directly with project leads.
Start dates are rolling; we aim to onboard qualified experts within a few days (1‑2) of application.
Up to 40 hours of work available per week.
Fully remote and asynchronous, so it can be flexible to your schedule.
Pay and Legal Status:
You will be legally classified as an hourly contractor.
We will pay you at the end of each week via Stripe Connect.
Screening Process:
You will need to complete a short interview and form, which will take a total of 30–50 minutes.
