Medical Assistant Phlebotomy

We currently have a position open for a Full Time Medical Assistant position with phlebotomy skills at a pediatric office. The MA will support our healthcare providers by performing a variety of clinical and administrative tasks, with a primary focus on patient care and phlebotomy. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and skilled in drawing blood in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws following established protocols
- Prepare specimens for laboratory testing and ensure proper labeling and documentation
- Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures
- Measure and record vital signs, patient history, and medical information
- Maintain clean and organized exam rooms and medical equipment
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and office policies
- Support front desk operations, including scheduling, check-ins, and patient communications as needed
