Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Intern
About the Role
We are seeking an Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Intern to join our team. As an intern, you will learn foundational principles and practices of ABA while assisting Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) in delivering one-on-one behavioral programming for children with autism. This internship is designed for students or recent graduates interested in psychology, neuroscience, education, or healthcare who want hands-on experience in behavioral health.
Minimum Requirements
- Current undergraduate or graduate student in psychology, neuroscience, education, healthcare, or a related field
- Interest in working with individuals with autism or special needs
- Willingness to learn ABA principles and techniques
- Compliance with company values, policies, and ethical code
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA regulations
- Reliable transportation to the office location
What You’ll Do
- Learn and apply basic ABA principles and practices in real-world settings
- Assist BCBAs in implementing 1:1 behavioral programming
- Collect data on client goals and document progress notes
- Review research and data under supervisor guidance
- Adhere to established policies, procedures, and ethical standards
- Safeguard all patient-related information in compliance with HIPAA
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities
- Optional: Begin working toward a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
