Part-Time Video Editor Intern (YouTube + Podcast Content)
Location: Remote
Commitment: Flexible, project-based (potential for ongoing monthly work)
About Me:
I’m a content creator who makes videos and a podcast centered around birds, nature, and storytelling. I’m looking for someone to help with consistent editing so I can focus on filming and creating.
The Role:
I’m looking for a beginner-friendly editor who can handle straightforward, repeatable edits for long-form YouTube and podcast video content. The edits are very structured and require light creative input — nothing overly complex, just clean, polished videos that highlight my style.
What You’ll Do:
Edit ~8 long-form videos per month (YouTube + podcast recordings)
Apply the same editing structure to each video (I’ll provide clear guidance)
Insert photos and videos of birds that I provide (with labels/names already listed)
Help create a simple intro + outro for the series
Do basic cutting, trimming, and adding light captions/effects where needed
Deliver a first-pass edit — I’ll review and do a second/third pass if needed
What I’m Looking For:
Familiarity with basic editing software (Riverside, CapCut, or DaVinci, etc.)
Attention to detail (catching where a cut should be made, aligning visuals with the audio flow)
Reliable and able to deliver on schedule
Excited to build a portfolio with consistent work
Interest in birds/nature a plus, but not required!
What You’ll Get:
Steady, repeatable editing projects each month
Portfolio credit for YouTube and podcast content
Flexible hours — work around your class or other commitments
Compensation: To be discussed, with a flat monthly rate or per-project option (great for students who want consistent income + portfolio growth)
