HR Coordinator
Exact Staff is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our client’s team in Valencia, CA. In this role, you’ll be the backbone of the HR department, ensuring performance management processes, employee relations, and compliance records are handled with care and precision. The ideal candidate is proactive, solutions-driven, and committed to maintaining confidentiality while delivering top-notch HR support.
Temp-to-Hire
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $30.00–$34.00/HR
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update employee files and HR databases, ensuring all records related to reviews, grievances, and performance are accurate, current, and compliant.
- Coordinate and track the annual, 45-day, and 90-day review process — schedule meetings, prepare forms, and ensure timely completion and filing.
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and grievances; document issues, provide support, and escalate when appropriate.
- Manage calendars, prepare agendas, and capture accurate meeting minutes for HR and management meetings.
- Partner with department managers to assist in creating new job descriptions that clearly define responsibilities and qualifications.
- Support HR initiatives such as policy updates, training programs, and employee communications.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an HR support or administrative role.
- Strong understanding of HR principles and best practices, especially in performance management and employee relations.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
