Part-Time Spanish Language Instructor – San Francisco, CA

Whizara delivers engaging, student-centered after-school classes for K–12 students. We are seeking enthusiastic Spanish Language Instructors to lead in-person classes in San Francisco, CA.

This role is ideal for college students, recent graduates, and working professionals who want to take on a flexible, part-time teaching opportunity. A complete curriculum will be provided — so there’s no need to create lesson plans.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe and positive classroom environment that supports learning.
• Be punctual, reliable, and organized to ensure smooth class sessions.
• Follow the provided curriculum, set student goals, and guide students for an enjoyable learning experience.
• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback and support to students.
• Collaborate effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
• Maintain an orderly, clean, and engaging classroom space.
• Work independently with initiative and professionalism.
• Stay in touch with the Whizara team via email and phone as needed.

Requirements

• Fluency in Spanish (native or near-native level, written and spoken).
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience with K–12 students is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work well with children while remaining patient, calm, and approachable.
• Comfortable working both independently and in collaboration with teachers.
