About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as an Entertainment/Event Intern. This internship offers hands-on experience in the entertainment and event management industry with a focus on concerts, PD events, sporting events, talent buying, industry trends, and the latest technology. The intern will assist with research, planning, and execution of various events, while gaining a deep understanding of safety and training protocols essential to the industry.

Educational Focus:

  • Concerts and Event Management: Gain practical experience in organizing and managing large-scale events, including concerts and sporting events.
  • Talent Buying: Learn the process of identifying, negotiating, and securing artists and performers for various events.
  • Industry Trends: Stay ahead of the curve by researching new technology, market trends, and best practices within the event and entertainment industry.
  • Safety and Compliance: Understand the importance of safety standards and training programs to ensure the well-being of event attendees and staff.

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Event Management, Production, Communications, Music, Theater, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in the entertainment industry, specifically in concerts, sporting events, and professional development programs.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to conduct in-depth research and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Knowledge of the latest industry trends, technologies, and safety protocols is a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and event management software is an advantage.
