SUMMER INTERN PROGRAM: May 18, 2026 – August 7, 2026

 

DESCRIPTION

Mativ is currently searching for IT Infrastructure Intern to join our team next summer. In this role, the intern will support the corporate office. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to learn on the fly, providing Collaboration Tools, Windows Desktop and other IT Support for in-person and remote end-users. In addition, the incumbent will gain experience in the ITSM tool ServiceNow, learning about Incident, Change, Problem, and Knowledge management.  The successful candidate will also learn how to create reports and dashboards in ServiceNow.  There could also be an opportunity to design and create process workflows which contribute to efficiency and accuracy. 

The Mativ Summer Internship Program is scheduled to start on May 18, 2026 – August 8, 2026. Our paid internship offers a well-rounded experience including: meaningful work, dedicated intern manager, community service, professional development and more.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with Technical team to support end users. 
  • Collaborate with the team on process efficiency improvements, cost savings and/or technology advancement.
  • Assist with building the foundation for documentation through collaboration tools such as SharePoint Online.
  • Utilize project management skills to balance various projects ranging in various IT functions.
  • Work on projects assigned by senior leaders.
  • Attend meetings with leadership team, reporting out on assigned tasks and present finding from special projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.  
  • Minimum GPA-3.0.
  • Internship or work experience preferred.
  • A team player with exceptional organizational and technical skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision making.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to balance multiple assignments at once.
  • Desire to make a strong contribution in a continuous learning environment, while enhancing their readiness for a full-time career.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows 0365, Windows 10, SharePoint Online, Collaboration tools like Webex and Teams.

  • Ability to analyze information to find opportunities, effectively communicate, and work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Candidates will need to possess technical troubleshooting and analysis skills.
