Job Description:
- Learn our agency management system
- Develop basic knowledge of the insurance industry and agency operations
- Shadow members of the service and sales team.
- Copy data and compile records and reports.
- work on PCORI project
- Research data files with groups in employee benefits
- Students will be educated on the clients that we serve and the industries that we represent
- Learn about the carriers that we partner with.
- Understand key insurance coverages and how to apply them to specific client opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate program. Preferred areas of study includes; Risk Management & Insurance, Business Management, Marketing, Actuarial Science, Accounting, Mathematics, and more.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to prioritize effectively.
- Strong Verbal and Written communication skills
- Willingness and motivation to learn the insurance industry
