AI Product Manager

Job Overview

Lead AI product strategy and execution for our asset management firm, driving the development of intelligent investment research, client service, and risk management products. You'll collaborate closely with technology teams, investment professionals, and business units to transform cutting-edge AI technologies into commercially valuable product solutions that directly impact investment decisions and client experiences across trillions in assets.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop AI product roadmaps, identifying AI application opportunities in investment research, portfolio management, and client services

•Collaborate with portfolio managers, research analysts, and client advisory teams to translate business requirements into product specifications

•Manage full AI product lifecycle: from proof-of-concept to market launch, including user research, requirements analysis, prototyping, development coordination, and operational rollout

•Establish AI product evaluation frameworks including model accuracy, user experience, business value, and risk control metrics

•Coordinate cross-functional teams (technology, compliance, risk, legal) to ensure AI products meet regulatory requirements

•Analyze competitor AI product strategies, identify market opportunities and differentiation positioning

•Manage AI product budgets, resource allocation, and project milestones

Required Qualifications

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred

•Deep understanding of AI/ML technology stack: deep learning, NLP, computer vision, reinforcement learning

•Familiarity with financial markets and asset management: investment processes, risk management, regulatory requirements

•Outstanding project management skills and cross-functional coordination experience

•Data analysis capabilities, proficient in SQL, Python, or R for product analytics

•Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

•AI product experience in financial services, especially asset management, investment banking, or wealth management

•Agile development and lean startup methodology experience

•Customer experience design and user research background

•Multilingual capabilities, especially business-level English and Chinese communication
