Washington DC Summer Fellows Program 2026

Between September 25th and November 7th, we will be accepting applications for the Washington DC Summer Fellows program.  This program offers a unique opportunity for Wofford students to study and acquire professional experience in the realm of public administration and public policy.  In partnership with The Fund for American Studies, students will participate in an eight-week internship experience in Washington, DC during the months of June and July of 2026. The program includes academic courses for credit, internships, housing, site briefings, guest lectures, a professional development series and mentorship program. Students accepted to the program will have all of their expenses for the summer program covered and receive a $2,000 stipend for out-of-pocket expenses.  To be considered, applications must be submitted by November 7th and will be reviewed by a selection committee.  Students will be informed of their acceptance by December 1st.  Preference will be given to students who will be entering their junior or senior year in the Fall of 2026.  The program is open to all majors and requires a minimum 3.00 GPA.
