Real Property Specialist
Nature of Work: The main purpose of this position is to provide appraisal, negotiation, relocation assistance and property management services for State Highway Administration’s capital program under the guidance of a higher-level Real Property Specialist. This is a generalist position performing all duties associated with the acquisition of real estate for the capital program.
Qualifications:
Education: Possession of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: None.
Preferred Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Notes:
1. Additional experience in professional or technical real estate work may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required education.
2. U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as defined under the Minimum Qualifications may be substituted for the required education and experience on a year-for-year basis.
Licenses & Certifications:
Candidate must possess a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the state of Maryland.
