Supply Chain Intern

Position Summary:

As a Supply Chain Intern, you will gain hands-on experience across logistics, procurement, inventory management, and operations planning. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, support project initiatives, and strengthen TCL’s global supply chain. This role also provides exposure to automation tools and programming applications used to streamline operations.

 

Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Perform accurate data entry to maintain and update supply chain systems and records.
  • Assist with invoicing tasks, including validating data, preparing reports, and supporting accounts payable/receivable processes.
  • Support logistics operations by coordinating shipments, tracking deliveries, and resolving transportation issues.
  • Help with supply chain planning activities such as demand forecasting, order management, and inventory analysis.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Assist in the development or use of automation tools to improve reporting, invoicing, and data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, operations, product management) to ensure alignment between supply and demand.
  • Participate in special projects focused on process optimization, cost reduction, and visibility improvements.

 

Qualification/Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience with data entry, reporting, and invoicing tasks preferred.
  • Interest or coursework in automation, programming (Python, VBA, or similar), or data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
  • Passion for learning about global supply chain operations and process improvement.
