Software Engineer – Student & Early Career Opportunity

Vale Concepts (Seattle-based)

About Vale

Vale is where automation, robotics, and food-and-beverage collide. We’re reimagining grab-and-go drinks with fully automated cold-drink kiosks and a digital platform that connects cafés, carts, and machines into one seamless experience.

We’re a small, fast-moving startup, which means you’ll have the chance to make a real impact from day one.

Why Join?

Build cool things that people actually use. From mobile apps to robots that pour drinks, your work will show up in the real world quickly.

Learn and grow fast. Work side-by-side with experienced engineers while getting ownership of meaningful projects.

Flexibility and creativity. We experiment, prototype, and move fast. You’ll have freedom to try new approaches.

What You’ll Work On

Depending on your interests and strengths, you could be:

Designing kiosk and mobile app experiences that customers love

Building back-end services for things like orders, payments, or loyalty programs

Connecting software to real hardware (yes, robots that pour drinks!)

Experimenting with AI-powered tools to build faster and smarter

Helping shape our engineering culture as one of our early hires

What We’re Looking For

You might be a great fit if you:

Have experience coding (class projects, internships, personal projects all count!)

Enjoy building things end-to-end, not just one piece of the puzzle

Are curious about how software meets the real world (IoT, robotics, mobile apps)

Work well in a small team and like collaborating across disciplines

Bonus points for:

Android/iOS app projects

Hardware or robotics tinkering

Payment/commerce integrations (Stripe, Square, etc.)
