Strings Campus Ambassador

Location: On-Campus / Remote
Type: Part-Time | Commission-Based

About Strings

Launched at Duke University in 2023, Strings has become the go-to hub where students discover events, RSVP, buy tickets, and share experiences. With over 90% of Duke undergraduates onboarded and thousands using Strings weekly, we’re now expanding nationwide — starting with UT Austin, Georgetown, Michigan, and Cornell.

Our mission is simple: bring students together through shared experiences while helping campus organizers and national brands connect authentically with student audiences.

About the Role

The Strings Campus Ambassador Program gives students hands-on experience in growth marketing, partnerships, and entrepreneurship.

As a Campus Ambassador, you’ll act as the face of Strings on your campus — helping student organizations, venues, and brands use Strings to host and promote events. You’ll gain real-world startup experience while building your personal network across campus.

Key Responsibilities

Promote Strings to students, clubs, and event organizers on your campus.

Build partnerships with student organizations, Greek life, and local venues.

Help coordinate branded event partnerships and sponsorship activations.

Share product feedback and creative growth ideas directly with the Strings founding team.

Track and report weekly growth metrics (events onboarded, users reached, etc.).

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the program, ambassadors will:

Gain practical experience in marketing, partnerships, and product growth.

Learn how to build a community and scale adoption for a consumer app.

Strengthen leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Get direct mentorship from a startup founding team.

Mentorship & Opportunities

You’ll work closely with the Strings founding team, getting early access to new features, professional mentorship, and startup-building insights.
High-performing ambassadors may be invited to join Strings for summer internships or full-time roles after graduation.

Compensation

This is a commission-based position. Ambassadors earn money through:

Commissions on brand sponsorships and paid partnerships you help secure.

Bonuses for hitting event and user growth milestones.

Qualifications

Current undergraduate student (all majors welcome).

Well-connected within your campus community (Greek life, clubs, athletics, student orgs).

Outgoing, persuasive, and entrepreneurial.

Excited about campus life and helping others connect through events.
