Social Media & Marketing Intern (Paid, Part-Time)
About Us
The Davenport Group is a top-producing real estate team with a strong focus on social media, marketing, and community engagement. Alongside our real estate business, we also run Discover Arlington, a local lifestyle and community platform. We are looking for a creative, motivated student who lives and breathes social media and wants hands-on experience growing two dynamic brands.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with content creation for Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.
- Edit videos and graphics using CapCut and Canva.
- Research social media trends, audio, and ideas to keep our content fresh.
- Support with scheduling, captions, and engagement.
- Brainstorm creative campaigns alongside our marketing team.
- Learn real-world marketing strategy while making an impact.
What We’re Looking For
- Coachable and eager to grow.
- Familiar with TikTok and Instagram, bonus if you would describe yourself as “chronically online.”
- Basic editing skills in CapCut and Canva, with a desire to improve.
- Currently enrolled in college (marketing, communications, media, or related preferred).
- Strong communication skills and a curious mindset.
Details
- Part-time paid internship, flexible at 10–20 hours per week around your class schedule.
- Hybrid or remote flexibility, with occasional in-person needs in Arlington.
- This internship does not have a set end date. We are looking for the right fit and are open to a trial period. There may be opportunities to grow into a more dedicated part-time or full-time role in the future.
- Compensation: Hourly wage TBD, depending on skill and experience (meets or exceeds state minimum)
