Social Media Intern

Social Media & Marketing Intern (Paid, Part-Time)

About Us

The Davenport Group is a top-producing real estate team with a strong focus on social media, marketing, and community engagement. Alongside our real estate business, we also run Discover Arlington, a local lifestyle and community platform. We are looking for a creative, motivated student who lives and breathes social media and wants hands-on experience growing two dynamic brands.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with content creation for Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.
  • Edit videos and graphics using CapCut and Canva.
  • Research social media trends, audio, and ideas to keep our content fresh.
  • Support with scheduling, captions, and engagement.
  • Brainstorm creative campaigns alongside our marketing team.
  • Learn real-world marketing strategy while making an impact.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Coachable and eager to grow.
  • Familiar with TikTok and Instagram, bonus if you would describe yourself as “chronically online.”
  • Basic editing skills in CapCut and Canva, with a desire to improve.
  • Currently enrolled in college (marketing, communications, media, or related preferred).
  • Strong communication skills and a curious mindset.

 

Details

  • Part-time paid internship, flexible at 10–20 hours per week around your class schedule.
  • Hybrid or remote flexibility, with occasional in-person needs in Arlington.
  • This internship does not have a set end date. We are looking for the right fit and are open to a trial period. There may be opportunities to grow into a more dedicated part-time or full-time role in the future.
  • Compensation: Hourly wage TBD, depending on skill and experience (meets or exceeds state minimum)
